The cRIO‑9116 is a rugged FPGA chassis that you can use to add C Series I/O modules to your distributed control or monitoring application. You can program the chassis using Scan Mode for fast expansion of your real-time system or using the onboard FPGA for inline processing and high-speed I/O and control. This chassis requires a compatible CompactRIO Controller to communicate with the modules installed in the chassis.Adds rugged, high-performance I/O to your PC-based application or expands your CompactRIO, PXI, or industrial controller application. CompactRIO Chassis can add C Series I/O modules to an EtherCAT-, Ethernet- or MXI-Express-compatible system. You can program the onboard FPGA for inline processing, high-speed I/O, and control. You can also use scan mode to quickly expand your real-time system.
